Rate Negotiation

As former senior executives of carriers, our principals have unique insights into the carrier rate negotiation process. We give our customers the opportunity at any time to involve us in their carrier rate negotiation process. For large shippers wanting to take advantage of the most recent technology available to automate the LTL bid process, we offer Bid$ense™, a better way to successful carrier agreements. When requested, AGO personnel can conduct your carrier contract negotiations, but we strongly recommend active participation by the shipper in the process to help lay the groundwork for successful longterm relationships with carriers. Where our customer already has wellestablished existing carrier relationships, our involvement with those carriers can generally be very limited. Where a shipper has not already done so, we generally recommend conversion to an industry standard tariff pricing system such as CzarLite provided through our strategic relationship with SMC³.

Through our extensive contacts with Truckload carriers, both asset and non-asset based, and our contacts with both regional and national Truckload brokers, we can help our customers identify those Truckload resources best suited to meet our customers' Truckload requirements.

Carrier Qualification

Carrier Qualification involves both objective and subjective criteria. Most carriers, whether LTL, Truckload, Expedited Truckload or Air, have defined their place in the market by adoption of varying core beliefs and business philosophies, pricing philosophies, areas of operation, approaches to technology, etc. Our in depth knowledge of the industry, gained through years of experience, enables us to help our customers identify those carriers that fulfill their needs.

Contract Administration

AGO Logistics has developed technology, our Contracts Module, that enables us to administer carrier contracts in a process that integrates the administration seamlessly with our proprietary rating technology. This system tracks contract effective dates, termination dates, renewal dates, scheduled rate changes, insurance certificate expiration, and other information relative to carrier contract administration.
