Proprietary Rating Technology
At the core of AGO Logistics' Transportation Management System is our
proprietary rating technology. Our comprehensive knowledge and unmatched
expertise by any other solution provider allowed us to develop the most
sophisticated rating technology available. This technology gives us the
flexibility to automate any and all rating schemes and methods, whether based
on industry standard approaches, such as CzarLite, or methods appropriate for
specialized industries, such as yardage-based tariffs for the carpet industry.
This proprietary rating technology can also be used for the development of
specialized tariffs or rating structures.
Least-cost Rating and Routing
Through the application of our
proprietary rating technology, AGO Logistics has the capability to
calculate, virtually instantaneously, the rates that might apply to any
single shipment based on the unique characteristics of that shipment.
This capability can be brought to bear at any time during the logistics
decision making process to assure the shipper that the least-cost carrier
is selected based on the service standards established by the shipper.
Mode Shopping
Since our proprietary rating technology can be applied
to LTL, Truckload, Expedited Truckload, and Air Freight, we enable the
shipper to compare the costs of alternative modes of transport as well as
alternative carriers within each mode.
